Background: Matt Jacobs was the middle child of 8 kids he was also born into a military family which required him to move alot. From an early age his parents taught him to do right and always play by the rules which for some reason Matt always took to heart.
As Matt got older his parents moved to Hawaii where matt would learn the art of shoot wrestling at the age of 13. This taught Matt how to gauge the strengths and weaknesses of his opponents.
At the age of 18 it looked like Matt would be destined to be the next young superstar but insted of going straight into wrestling Matt insted decided to further his academics while attending Ohio University. Following graduation Matt focused once again on becoming a wrestling superstar bouncing from indy promotion to promoting and thru hard work and dilligance he worked his way to the big leagues.
